Citroën UK has appointed former Vauxhall head of marketing and communications Clare White as its new marketing director, succeeding Nicola Dobson who has switched to a new role as director of used car operations within owner the Stellantis Group.
In her new role, White will oversee Citroën’s electrification strategy in the UK as the brand moves to offer electric and plug-in hybrid variants across its range by 2025.
She will work closely with the wider Citroën UK team across projects, including the launch of the new ë-C4 X Electric.
In her previous roles, White was Vauxhall’s marketing and programmes specialist, Network Q marketing manager, fleet communications manager and national brand manager for used vehicles.
The move follows the recruitment of managing director Greg Taylor, who joined in October from Fiat and succeeded Eurig Druce, who took on the new role of director of network operations for Stellantis UK.
Stellantis brands include Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, DS, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Mopar, Opel, Peugeot, Ram, and Vauxhall.
Taylor said: “Clare brings a wealth of experience to the team and I’m excited to be working with her.”
White added: “This is a pivotal time to be joining Citroën UK as we move forward with our electrification journey and continue to be a bold and audacious brand that truly cares for people and planet.
“I look forward to building on the energy and drive that Eurig has created within the brand, and I want to wish him all the best in his new role.”
Citroën UK has working with a number of agencies in recent years, including Pablo, MBAstack, April Six and OMD.
