Vauxhall is launching a loyalty programme designed to boost customer engagement by allowing customers to accrue points that can give them discounts on a new car or servicing and accessories.
The Vauxhall Rewards loyalty programme, devised by Eclipse Marketing, is based on a branded pre-pay debit card or credit card.
The system, which integrates several key suppliers including Capital One, is built on a database platform devised and implemented by Eclipse which will to provide Vauxhall with key insights through a client services team.
Claimed to be an automotive first, it ties together Eclipse’s core expertise of database development, project management and IT backed by the support of its multi-channel contact centre.
In its role as the provider of the loyalty programme, Eclipse has also developed a bespoke system that will track all customer registrations and their respective points balances, while providing full customer service support.
Vauxhall strategic marketing programmes manager Sophie Thomas said: “One of our key objectives is to deliver real meaningful value to our customer base through a targeted loyalty approach.
