ZenithOptimedia in Cranfield deal

ZenithOptimedia in Cranfield dealZenithOptimedia has struck a partnership with Cranfield University School of Management, to apply leading academic research to complement its data-driven “live ROI” offering.
One of the initiatives will include offering a group of masters students from the Cranfield MSc in Strategic Marketing programme the chance to gain first-hand experience alongside the agency’s analysts and planners at its central London headquarters. The students will be able to apply their pioneering research to tackle live client challenges.
ZenithOptimedia’s live ROI positioning, which enables all its work to be scrutinised to ensure it is driving commercial effectiveness for its clients, marries with the course programme, which teaches students the importance of driving results for clients in a highly competitive market.
Ian Liddicoat, chief information officer at ZenithOptimedia (pictured), said: “Our client solutions are heavily driven by data, analytics and a focus on genuine commercial performance. Cranfield is a leading academic institution with deep and varied expertise in business performance so we are ideal partners. We are already working together with a number of Cranfield students on topics that represent genuine business issues for our clients.”
Dr Andrey Pavlov, Lecturer in Business Performance Management at Cranfield University, commented: “Cranfield is known for its leading research and teaching in both marketing and performance measurement, and collaborating with a business partner operating at the forefront of these areas offers exciting opportunities for both of us.
“This collaboration is very much in line with Cranfield’s long-standing tradition of business relevant research and education, and we looking forward to growing this into a wider partnership that offers our students valuable insight into the business world and involves collaborative research into the most pressing industry challenges.”
Other areas of collaboration will include evaluating the best metrics to measure marketing and media effectiveness in the food and drink industry and the better use of quantitative marketing analysis data in making decisions and allocating budgets.
