Ticket Tailor, which claims to be a simple and affordable ticketing platform, is making its TV advertising debut with a film that aims to dramatise the calm of using its service against the chaos of organising events.
“Peace & Pillow Fights”, has been created by London-based agency OCD Studio and has been made possible by Ticket Tailor being one of five winners of Channel 4 Sales’ B Corp competition, run in partnership with B Lab UK, designed to spotlight sustainable businesses.
It is centred around an event creator “Sandra” who has managed to find complete serenity before she opens the doors to a riotous “over 90’s pillow fight”.
Shots switch between the calm and composed key character who has used Ticket Tailor for her event and the elderly opponents, unleashing a storm of feathers across a gym hall. The film ends with the line “Whatever your event looks like, own it, with Ticket Tailor.”
Airing on Channel 4 and Channel 4 On Demand for six weeks, the film is part of Ticket Tailor’s wider multichannel campaign “Own It”, which is running across social, out-of-home, and audio advertising.
Ticket Tailor head of marketing Olivia Parker said: “We wanted to create a campaign that not only reflects our diverse global community of 73,000 event creators but also captures the emotional reality of running events, the chaos, the pressure, and ultimately, the joy.
“The ad plays with this contrast: the calm before the storm, as a serene Sandra prepares for her ‘Over 90s Pillow Fight’, set against the revelrous fun about to unfold. It’s a lighthearted take, but with a deeper message, that Ticket Tailor empowers customers to truly own their events, thanks to industry-leading low fees, hundreds of powerful features, and unmatched 24/7 support – bringing peace among the chaos.
“Peace & Pillow Fights is a big creative milestone for Ticket Tailor. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner than our longstanding creative agency, OCD Studio, to bring it to life. And we hope it helps to unlock our next phase of growth, while also shining a spotlight on the wonderful B Corp community”
OCD creative director Tom Young added: “Peace & Pillow Fights evolved from three years of documenting the Ticket Tailor community and turning that spirit into something playful but metaphorical.
“Their events are full of creativity and joy, but running them can feel frenzied. The pillow fight became the perfect symbol. Chaotic but harmless. Tiring but rewarding. It reflects a brand truth, which is that Ticket Tailor transforms the mayhem of hosting events into something seamless, supported, and truly your own.”
The TV debut comes after Ancient + Brave was named one of five winners in Channel 4 Sales’ B Corp competition to win free advertising airtime with B Lab UK. Designed to spotlight sustainable businesses and demonstrate the transformative power of TV advertising, each winner was awarded £120,000 worth of advertising airtime.
