VCCP pools digital experts for global social media unit

VCCP is overhauling its social offering with the launch of a global collective of more than 80 specialists whose mission is to help brands shine brighter in social, whether within communities or within culture.

VCCP Social Club brings together the network’s expertise across social strategy, content creation, community engagement, influencer marketing, digital innovation and 360 paid, owned earned social.

It aims to ensure clients are not just present, but “profoundly relevant” in the fast-moving social media landscape.

Designed to address the complexity of the modern social landscape, which demands socially native creative from day one, not simply cut-downs of traditional advertising, it claimed the Club provides 360-degree social capabilities across all client touchpoints and is grounded in deep functional expertise.

From social strategy and governance paid media, creator and content production, and influence and talent, to community and culture, data and measurement, and the responsible use of AI, social is at the very heart.

As part of the new offering, VCCP “veteran” Bridget Limbrey has been promoted to managing director of the specialist capability. In her new role, she will focus on building VCCP Social Club into a global powerhouse, scaling its specialised offering across the VCCP network and driving a unified vision for social excellence.

Limbrey’s extensive experience includes successfully leading and winning major pitches and managing significant accounts for both global and UK clients.

She will be supported by head of social and innovation Alex Dalman, head of social strategy Tiffany Mondesir and social ECD David Feldman.

Social creative director Lucy Hancock also joins the team to bolster the social creative division. Hancock is a non-traditional creative director with an award-winning editorial and broadcast background.

Central to its offering is the launch of its bespoke, state-of-the-art content studio – the Social Clubhouse is at its new office in Berners Street, London. The dedicated facility, housed at VCCP’s new offices in Fitzrovia is designed to enable agile, native content production and real-time cultural insight.
