Acxiom has boosted its relationship with NewDay, the company which runs storecards and credit services for the likes of House of Fraser, Debenhams, Laura Ashley and Arcadia Group, to build and manage its enterprise customer data warehouse.
The appointment, which builds on Acxiom’s five-year partnership with the brand, sees the data firm provide a fully managed service of all of NewDay’s back office data, enabling the company to make business decisions on behalf of its retail client based on enhanced information.
NewDay will use advanced analytics, campaign management and business intelligence across its entire data warehouse as part of the process.
Formerly known as SAV Credit, the finance firm manages information on over 5 million customers and provides credit and store card services to leading UK retail brands, in addition to its own brand credit cards (Aqua, Marbles and Opus).
NewDay chief operating officer Sanjay Sharma said: “Our aim is to make the best use of the data we maintain in order to better inform our business decisions. We are confident that we will achieve this through Acxiom’s software.
“The platform is important to ensuring our business can continue to effectively respond to the rapidly evolving challenges of marketing today but it will also provide us with the advantage of further anticipating the needs of our customers in the future. ”
