Amaze One, the direct marketing agency formed from a collaboration between St Ives Group-owned Occam and Amaze, has been on a major recruitment drive in response to the rapid growth of the agency.
The agency, launched in January this year, has hired nine new staff, many of whom are graduates, which it claims counteracts the perceived lack of young talent in the industry.
The hires follow a raft of client wins, including Car Giant, Lookers and Bosch. All staff work across its three sites in London, Manchester and Bristol.
The in-house communications team has appointed five new team members including planning manager Laura Chapman and project implementation manager Claire Chetwynd, who joined from Ethicall and John Crane respectively. They have been charged with providing insight-driven creative communications and “out of the ordinary” CRM campaigns for brands.
Meanwhile, Thomas Ross, previously at The Real Adventure, and Matt Healy, previously at EMO, have joined to bolster the client services team. The creative team has also introduced two new designers, Nick Seville and Cameron Scott.
Amaze One managing director Neil Evans claims the agency’s growth highlights the appetite clients have for its unique approach to CRM.
He added: “All our new recruits are outstanding practitioners with individual industry insight and a wealth of experience that our clients can draw on. It’s great that we can invest in and support their development from graduates to true industry experts.
“Their skills are a perfect fit for our growing client base, and they bring fresh enthusiasm and energy to Amaze One. This will prove vital as we continue to grow and deliver outstanding work to our clients.”
