Flooring retailer Carpetright has appointed data-powered customer engagement business Blueberry Wave to deliver CRM, planning and insight services.
The retailer is currently undergoing a major overhaul after closing a number of stores and has pinpointed digital as a key part of its transformation strategy.
Carpetright UK marketing director Helen Vinken said: “We loved Blueberry Wave’s partnership approach to the pitch and their ability to deliver their range of CRM and data skills and services in an agile manner.
“We are embarking on a new chapter for Carpetright, and having experts in their field to help us on this new journey is vital.”
Blueberry Wave planning and analysis director Steve Mattey said: “We are delighted to be working with Carpetright to grow their business and drive their customer-centric ambitions to deliver a seamless purchase experience for Carpetright’s range of products.
“Clients are increasingly seeking to work in a customer centric manner unifying channels rather than in siloes. It is vital in the current environment to make sure all data is driving relevancy and consistent customer experiences.”
The appointment comes as Blueberry Wave has beefed up its London team. Nic Schurmer joins as a data planner from Iris Concise and Richard Exelby joins as an account executive from The Body Shop.
Last week, Blueberry Wave launched its new OmniFuse platform, which it claims unites the key elements of best of breed software to deliver online and offline data in realtime.
