Dentsu hires Meta chief Jenny Bullis to head up media

JennyBullis portraitDentsu UK&I is bolstering its media practice with the appointment of Meta chief Jenny Bullis as chief executive with a brief to scale the group’s integrated capabilities to ensure clients receive “future-facing and competitive” solutions.

Bullis, who joins next month, will sit on the executive leadership team and lead Dentsu’s UK&I media market, one of the largest in the Dentsu family, comprised of Carat, iProspect and Dentsu X.

She will report into Dentsu CEO UK&I Angela Tangas and work closely with the group’s global and EMEA leadership to enhance its media strategy and strengthen its position in the market.

In the UK&I, Bullis has been charged with accelerating Dentsu’s performance and drive further growth by partnering with creative and CXM practice areas to deliver services that set a new benchmark for modern media solutions in market.

She brings more than 25 years’ experience in media and marketing, most recently at Meta, where she led the EMEA-wide Marketing Science organisation, supporting Meta’s largest and mid-sized advertisers’ investment to be managed more effectively and efficiently.

Having started her career at Starcom, Bullis went on to hold senior roles as BT, Sainsbury’s, ITV, Omnicom, and Group M.
