Digital agency Spinnaker has completed the appointment of a new management line-up by recruiting insight director Alexandra Curley, who has been working as an independent research consultant since leaving Group M earlier this year.
Curley joins new client services director Wendy Hook and creative director Rich Coggin, who have both joined within the past few months.
She has more than 10 years’ experience in consumer intelligence, research and analysis and has worked at Euromonitor, Mintel and Group M.
Curley will be deploying a range of research techniques to enhance the agency’s understanding of human interaction and engagement in the wider world, as well as within specific brand categories.

Alexandra leads the insights discovery process that is embedded in the culture and fabric of Spinnaker. Simply put, our understanding of people informs everything we do. Her appointment completes our increasingly strong management line up as we enter a new phase in our development as an agency, and put ‘brand humanisation’ centre stage.”
Curley added: “Consumer research and social listening inform much of what I do at Spinnaker helping ensure that we stay one step ahead of trends in consumer behaviour and attitudes. I’ll be responsible for publishing white papers on the subject of brands and how they operate in the ‘human space’ to help our clients gain traction with their target consumers.”
Hook returned to Spinnaker in February this year having spent some time working in New York, while Coggin joined from AIS London in April.
