Hook returns to Spinnaker foldSpinnaker has appointed Wendy Hook as client services director, marking her return to the digital agency after five years working in the US.
Hook, who was previously group account director, left Spinnaker in 2008 and moved to New York, where she worked for independent digital agency called Heartbeat Ideas.
While there, she led the client services team and working alongside the head of the planning and analytics department. During her time, the agency was bought by Publicis Groupe.
At Spinnaker, Hook will lead the agency’s development, while acting as a senior point of contact for strategic direction for clients including AB World Foods, Middlesex University and Walkabout Bars.
Spinnaker managing partner Robert Goldsmith said: “We’re delighted to have Wendy back in the UK and that she’s decided to rejoin the agency. I know she is the right person to lead our client services team as we consolidate the business we won last year and pitch for new business in the coming months.”
The agency has also appointed Nina Kang senior account director working across Hipp Organic, Bord Bia and IMEX. She has also worked at Proximity, Tequila and Haygarth, and was most recently worked at Lida, on the Boots One Healthcare business.
