Digital agency Spinnaker has appointed former Rapier and Proximity London planning chief Justine Wood as planning director after four years as a freelancer, including a spell at Spinnaker.
Wood started her career at Proximity in 1998, staying for four years before switching to Rapier. She then turned freelance and spent time at AIS London, Just Soh and Souk before spending nearly 18 months at Spinnaker.
Most recently she has been working as a marketing consultant for PRS for Music, defining the role and approach for M Magazine and M Online.
Wood joins Spinnaker to improve the culture and integration of planning at the agency and with its clients, having worked on Sainsbury’s at Proximity, The AA at Rapier and O2 at AIS.
Spinnaker managing partner Robert Goldsmith said: “Justine is a great addition to our team. Planning is at the heart of everything we do and she brings vast experience with her. I believe she will be a real asset particularly as we come across increasingly complex and wide-reaching strategy issues for our clients who have problems drawing social, CRM and campaigns together.”
Spinnaker has 27 full time staff in London working on clients such as Sony Pictures Releasing, Bord Bia, HiPP Organic, and AB World Foods. This summer it picked up the digital and CRM account for Australian themed bar Walkabout, as well as the Middlesex University business.
