Jaywing has appointed a new director of strategy as part of plans to further integrate technology and innovation into the heart of the agency’s offering.
Sean Kelly, who has over 20 years’ experience working for some of the biggest names in advertising including Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, Y&R, DDB and Havas Worldwide, joins Jaywing from his own strategic consultancy, Bedrock Planning.
Before that, Kelly was global planning pirector at Lowe Worldwide, where he managed the Unilever account across global personal care. He has also worked in global, regional and domestic roles in Australasia, the US and Europe, with FTSE 100 brands and businesses including P&G, McDonalds, COI, the BBC, Heinz and American Express, with his work recognised and awarded by the APG, IPA and Effie.
Commenting on his new role, Kelly said: “The vision for my role is to help the business build on its collaborative approach, both internally and with clients, integrating data science and innovative applications of intelligent technology into our work.
“I hope to balance Jaywing’s rigour of thinking with creativity which, transferred through our work, creates strategies that are compelling and exciting, and that people respond to.”
