Moss brings in shop to put finishing touches to rebrand

Moss – the retailer which recently rebranded from Moss Bros and can trace its roots back over 170 years – has appointed a new agency to bring the new brand to life following a competitive pitch process.

The company was set up in 1851 by Moses Moss in Covent Garden, London, and is still one of the UK’s top menswear shops, specialising in dress wear for formal occasions, mainly for hire but also to buy. It has 114 outlets throughout the UK.

The Corner London will start immediately on the spring/summer 25 campaign which will be the first to bring Moss’ rebrand to life. The work will go live in June and run across VOD, OOH, social, digital and In-store.

As part of the pitch, The Corner has also been appointed as Moss’ social and influencer agency. This is The Corner’s third new business win of the year.

Moss chief executive Brian Brick said: “This is a defining moment for Moss. We have our strongest collection to date, a clear and confident vision for the brand, and we’re continuing to invest in our growing store portfolio.

“We’re pleased to be partnering with The Corner at such an important time for the business, and together we’re excited to bring the next chapter of the Moss story to life.”

Brick recently revealed that by the end of 2025, the retailer will have updated the signage across half of its store portfolio, fully modernising its brand presence.

He said Moss also intends to relocate two to three additional stores this year in major cities. Following the opening of a store in Edinburgh last year, Brick said there is “more potential” for expansion in Scotland.

The Corner London founder and CEO Neil Simpson added: “Moss is an icon of the high street that is innovating at pace. We are honoured to be selected as their partner.”
