Robert Dyas unveils first loyalty scheme in 150 years

robert dyasHome, electrical and garden retailer Robert Dyas, which can trace its roots back to 1872 when the eponymous founder opened his first ironmongery store, has launched its first ever loyalty scheme to help customers through the cost of living crisis.

The MyDyas scheme will offer members points every time they shop and they will also be given exclusive prices as well as personalised offers.

The retailer has been owned by Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis since 2012 and now operates 92 stores across the South of England and an ecommerce site.

New MyDyas members can sign up online, at the shop tills or through QR codes around the store to access the scheme, while current RobertDyas.com account holders will be automatically transferred to the programme.

Trading director Andrew Gabriel said: “We’ve been on the high street helping customers for over 150 years so it makes perfect sense, now with the cost of living crisis, to ensure we continue to be of service.

“Times are tough and we want to help our customers by offering reduced pricing on hundreds of everyday items when they sign up to MyDyas, as well as reward them with points every time they shop.”

Last year, Robert Dyas hailed its data-led approach to achieving its environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals, achieving a 30% reduction in electricity consumption and benefiting from enhanced employee wellbeing and customer experience through a partnership with start-up consultancy Beyond ESG.
