Data anaytics giant Teradata has appointed a new boss for its UK eCircle division, following the promotion of Simon Bowker to head up the company’s Asian operations.
Christopher Kollat (pictured), managing director for media services, will be relocating to London from Germany to succed Bowker as country Manager for UK&I, reporting directly to Teradata eCircle international vice-president Volker Wiewer.
Bowker, who has been at eCircle for five years – during which time it was bought by Teradata – has driven the development and growth of the UK & Ireland business, most recently within the international region. He will continue to report directly to Volker Wiewer.
Kollat joined the company in 2000, and brings more than a decade of experience in digital marketing sales and operations. Having managed the Teradata Digital Media Services business across three different markets (Germany, UK and Italy), Kollat also successfully managed the integration of the media business into the broader Teradata organisation.
Late last year DecisionMarketing revealed that former Meta-morphix boss Rob Salmon had joined Teradata Applications as commercial director.
Wiewer said: “The work of Simon and his teams over the past 11 years has been nothing short of outstanding. We wish him all the best for his career in this new role, on a new continent and would like to thank him for his contribution to the UK&I region’s success. Christopher joins us at an exciting transitional time for our business, and I look forward to working with him to further our growth in 2014 and beyond.”
