Integrated agency TMW has promoted a trio of its senior staff to leadership positions, following a string of new business wins and strengthened client partnerships.
The Accenture Song-owned company has promoted business director Kate Howarth to head of client services, head of planning Paul Dazeley to group head of planning, and planning director Jos Ingram to group planning director (CRM).
The agency says the new roles highlight the “outstanding achievements” of the individuals and underscore the growing scale and strategic importance of their teams that have led to significant growth in the agency’s revenue and head count.
During her time as business director, Howarth oversaw new client wins, including Aviva and Bulk, while taking more leadership responsibilities alongside Karen Morris, (who was promoted to chief client officer early this year).
She will now oversee TMW’s growing account management department. Reporting into Morris, she will ensure the agency continues to build strong partnerships and provide clients with an exceptional experience. She will also retain responsibility for managing some of the agency’s biggest accounts, including McDonald’s and Suzuki.
Dazeley, meanwhile, has been instrumental in leading TMW’s integrated strategic approach, driving success on a raft of government clients, McDonald’s and Freely. He also headed up TMW’s planning department and tripled its headcount.
In his new role, Dazeley will drive strategic excellence throughout the agency’s integrated disciplines, including B2B, B2C, CRM and government, while creating space for new leaders to steer excellence within those specialisms. He will continue to report into chief strategy officer Dan Bowers.
Finally, since joining in 2021, Ingram has been the strategic lead on many of TMW’s biggest customer engagement accounts, including Vodafone and NS&I.
She will now shape the future of CRM within the agency and her team will work closely with the Human Understanding Lab and Accenture Song to develop tools and technology solutions that put behavioural science at the heart of CRM. Ingram will report to Paul Dazeley.
These are among several promotions to happen within TMW. In TMW’s Bristol office, Emma Woodrow has been promoted to head of client services (Bristol) and Tim Spencer has been hired as head of live experiences.
TMW managing director Emma Norman said: “We’re incredibly proud to be in a position to create these roles and fill them internally with superstar members of the team. Kate, Paul, and Jos have each made an extraordinary impact on our clients, our culture, and our growth. Their talent, dedication, and leadership embody everything we strive for at TMW, and it’s a real privilege to be able to recognise that through these promotions.”
