TMW Unlimited strengthens its strategy department

tmw strategyTMW Unlimited is bolstering its strategy team with a raft of promotions as well as the appointment of OMD strategy director Dan Bowers.
Bowers, who has also had spells at VCCP and Weapon7, has been hired as planning director and will provide strategic leadership on Sony Mobile, following TMW Unlimited’s recent appointment as the brand’s global lead strategic digital agency.
Meanwhile planning director Adam Knight has been promoted to head of planning, and will now oversee and manage the agency’s 18-strong planning team, as well as continuing to lead accounts such as Canon and McLaren. He reports to director of strategy Kate Wheaton.
Senior data planner Sally Schumacher has been promoted to data planning director, and will increase the focus on strategic use of data across the client portfolio and continue growing and strengthening the TMW data offering.
Having previously held senior positions at Haygarth and Karmarama, Schumacher will work across all clients, with strategic direction on Virgin Trains. She will report into data director Anna Foster.
In addition, senior planner Andrew Robinson has been promoted to the role of planning director. Reporting to Adam Knight, he will be strategic lead on Unilever and the digital advertising for Virgin Trains. Robinson previously held senior planning positions at Zone and Rapp.
