Underwired chiefs Holland and Thew launch start-up

Holland and ThewFormer Underwired duo Jason Holland and John Thew have launched their own business, dubbed THE-CRMagency, with Adobe Stock as one of their founding clients.
The agency launches this week and has already started working with a number of clients, including Raring2go, the nationwide directory for activities for families and kids.
THE-CRMagency will specialise in strategic planning, creative design, campaign delivery and results analysis.
Adobe Stock head of CRM Andy Gray said: “I selected THE-CRMagency because of their founders’ impressive digital loyalty experience and ability to translate that experience in to compelling creative that my team can deploy.”
Underwired was co-founded by Felix Velarde and creative director Holland (pictured, left) nearly a decade ago, and appointed former Wunderman and Agency.com chief John Thew (pictured, right) as managing director in 2013.
It was bought was bought by Leeds-based ad agency Gratterpalm in November 2014, triggering the departure of Velarde two months later. Thew and Holland both left soon after the agency was rebranded CreativeRace in September last year.
