Unlimited injects life into German agency’s health blitz

serviceplanUnlimited Group, the business behind TMW, Prophecy and Walnut, has strengthened its pact with Serviceplan to boost the German agency’s attack on the international healthcare industry.
The move follows the signing of a tripartite agreement between Unlimited, Serviceplan and Japan’s Hakuhodo earlier this year. It sees Health Unlimited, whose clients include Novartis, Cow & Gate, Takeda and Teva UK, back the relaunch of Serviceplan Health & Life as simply Serviceplan Health.
The revamped agency will focus its efforts on the launch of healthcare brands in the UK, Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain and Russia, with further expansion planned in the US and APAC markets.
Serviceplan Health brings all creative, medical, digital and media under one roof, and relies on what it claims is a “comprehensive mindset that closely links creation, medicine and technology”, which it has dubbed “ÜberCreativity”.
Health Unlimited UK practice lead for brand Jason Gallabarth will support Serviceplan Health’s global management team, formed of global business director Jola Mazurek, based in Poland, managing partner Florian Bernsdorf and creative partner Mike Rogers.
Gallabarth said: “As the global healthcare landscape continues to evolve, so too do the opportunities for our clients in growing their brands. The partnership between Health Unlimited and Serviceplan makes it possible to combine our capabilities in an increasingly competitive market.”
Serviceplan claims to be Europe’s largest independent network; it has 4,000 employees worldwide, with offices in China, France, India, Italy, Russia, Spain and the US.
Group chief executive Florian Haller commented: “The healthcare market is highly competitive sector and often faced with complex challenges. Integrating healthcare expertise provides us with a significant competitive advantage for us in a global context – one that will help us to further expand our healthcare programme and drive success for current and new clients. Health Unlimited brings us this expertise in both the UK and globally in spades.”
