Weisinger exits HeyHuman to join outdoor specialist

HeyHuman hires Helen WeisingerHeyHuman new business chief Helen Weisinger has quit after two years in the role of managing partner and CMO to join poster and out of home specialist Outdoor Plus as chief client officer.
Weisinger, who worked exclusively in adland for most of her career – including Saatchi & Saatchi, DLKW, TBWA, Fallon, McCann-Erickson and EDC – joined HeyHuman from Mary Portas’ eponymous agency, where she was marketing partner.
At Outdoor Plus she will work with advertisers and their agencies and sit on the executive board along with Grant Branfoot and four other members of the management team.
Outdoor Plus managing director Jonathan Lewis said: “Our experience has shown us that the most innovative and successful campaigns arise when we work directly with advertisers and their agencies.
“Appointing Helen as chief client officer is the next step as we continue with our ambition to offer advertisers the very best in digital out of home. Helen has a wealth of agency experience and this new role will see her play a pivotal role in the growth of Outdoor Plus.”
Weisinger added: “This is not just a new job but an exciting career shift for me. It’s a really interesting time to get into digital OOH. Unlike any other medium, the great thing is that it can’t be turned off or tuned out and I’m excited about showing off the creative opportunities to clients and agencies. Digital OOH is one of few traditional media that has benefited from advances in technology, mobile & social media and I’m looking forward to working closely with clients and agencies to demonstrate how this can truly enhance communications plans.”
