Whistl is gearing up for a major push into international markets by appointing two senior executives to lead the postal company’s overseas strategy.
Nick Frazer (pictured, left) has been appointed carrier development director and Paul Smith (pictured, right) has been appointed international sales director.
Frazer has worked in the international arena for over 25 years with firms including Spring UK, Deutsche Post UK, Swiss Post International and Asendia.
Meanwhile, Smith has spent his career in international distribution with significant experience with high street fashion clients of firms including DHL Express and Geopost; developing and promoting international services for the Interlink and DPD brands.
Whistl chief executive Nick Wells said: “Paul and Nick bring broad experience in the international inbound and outbound delivery market.
“2016 represents an exciting time for Whistl with major investment and focus on our international and parcel delivery services. Our aim as always is to respond to market demand with solutions that meet and exceed expectations, constantly putting quality at the heart of everything we do.”
The appointments follow a number of key hirings in the parcels division as the company bolsters its team on the back of its management buyout late last year.
