Industry urged to save the date for All In Census 2027

Everyone working in the UK advertising and marketing industry is being encouraged to save the date of March 10 2027, so they can take part in the fourth All In Census and dedicate 15 minutes to have their say in the industry’s confidential, census-style research.

The programme is a cross-industry initiative, managed by the Advertising Association, IPA and ISBA, with an aim to build a workplace where everyone feels they belong.

The All In Census is now in its fourth iteration following its inaugural launch in 2021 (16,000 responses) and subsequent iterations in 2023 (19,000 responses) and 2025 (14,000 responses).

To date, the All In Census remains the largest industry survey of its kind in the UK and of any advertising territory globally.

Through the invaluable insights found, the survey data has helped to drive tangible progress across UK advertising workforces through the All In Action Plan.

The network of All In Champions, who are actively implementing actions to support workforce inclusion and representation, has grown to over 150 businesses since 2021.

The All In Census provides the credible data needed to build an accurate picture of industry sentiment, directly informing the All In Action Plan. Participating in this “state of the nation” survey ensures that advertising practitioners can have their say about their daily working life.

As an added benefit, participating members of the AA, IPA, and ISBA, provided their business has received enough responses, can receive a confidential, bespoke report benchmarking their company-specific data against the broader industry dataset.

Advertising Association inclusion lead and commercial director Sharon Lloyd Barnes said: “With the ongoing transformation of every business, there has never been a more important time to hear from the ad industry’s talent about their experience at work and their sentiment toward the work we collectively do. The data gathered from over 50,000 responses in the last 6 years has already impacted lasting change so please do protect 15 minutes on March 10 to have your say.”
