Acxiom hunts boss as top chief exits

Acxiom hunts boss as top chief quitsThe boss of Acxiom’s UK, US and European divisions – and global second in command – Nada Stirratt is leaving the company after just under three years to pursue what the firm describes as “other opportunities”.
Although there are no details about whether she has a job to go, the timing of her departure at the end of Acxiom’s financial year – March 31 – is likely to raise a few eyebrows.
Stirratt has overseen all sales, account management, delivery and consulting at all of Acxiom’s US and international operations, meaning US and European bosses – including UK chief Christian Peck – reported into her, so industry insiders will be keeping a close eye on sales figures when the latest results are published.
Stirrat, who had previously worked at MySpace, MTV Networks and AOL, was appointed chief revenue officer and executive vice president in June 2012 and was charged with spearheading the company’s digital transformation.
At the time of her appointment, global chief executive Scott Howe said: “Nada’s deep knowledge in digital advertising, integrated marketing and delivery offers the perfect fit to advance our marketing and data services, client-centric culture and global footprint.”
During her time at the company, Stirratt played an integral part in Acxiom’s digital transformation and the launch of its Audience Operating System.
A headhunting firm has been hired to find a replacement but Howe will take on her responsibilities – in addition to his own – in the meantime.
In a statement, Howe said: “We have a strong and dedicated sales team. I am confident in their ability to carry on fully as we move through this transition. Ensuring the success of our customers remains our number one priority.”
