Great Pitch Company hires new biz queen Laura Holme

Former Rapp, Publicis and Dentsu new business queen Laura Holme has joined international consultancy The Great Pitch Company as business development and growth consultant for the UK, bringing what boss Marcus Brown has called her “sleeves-rolled-up approach” to the company.

While many of the agencies where Holme has plied her trade – including Harrison Troughton Wunderman, Proximity, DraftFCB and Mcgarrybowen – are long gone, she brings extensive knowledge and experience to the international pitch consultancy.

Working into The Great Pitch Company founder and CEO Marcus Brown, Holme will be responsible for managing and growing both the Great Now (pitch consultancy) and Great Forever (training and development) divisions of the UK business.

Brown said: “Laura is a formidable talent with deep expertise in winning pitches. Having worked together previously, I know that the agencies we work with will love her down-to-earth, sleeves-rolled-up approach to business development.”

Holme added: “The idea of collaborating again has been on the table for some time, and we’re delighted to make it happen. With a shared commitment to supporting agencies and driving success through pitching, this partnership feels both natural and timely.”

Lead consultant Louise Jackson continues to work across the business, including leading operations in Italy and working on International opportunities.

Holme’s appointment comes at a time of international growth for The Great Pitch Company.  Having achieved a 100% pitch win rate for clients in 2024, the company is expanding its operations around the globe with established footholds in North America, Europe and the Middle East.
