Indicia creative director Andy Barwood has thumbed through his contacts book to poach lead designer Barry Redford to spearhead the agency’s team across key clients.
Barwood joined the agency last year, succeeding Ian Bates who switched to Creston agency The Real Adventure. He worked with Redford at both Hicklin Slade (now Karmarma) and TMW and described him as “the perfect candidate to take Indicia’s design craft to the next level”.
At Indicia, Redford with lead the design team in producing creative solutions for the agency’s client portfolio, which includes Majestic Wines, Shop Direct, Axa, Dyno and Pure Gym.
He started his career at TMW in 2000, then had spells at Hicklin Slade, and The Real Adventure; Redford joins from Media Clash where he was also lead designer. During his career he has worked on many brands such as Honda, British Airways, Diageo, Sony and Marks & Spencer, with a particular focus on CRM, digital and branding.
