Marketing specialist Intermedia Global has merged with martech consultancy Vantage Clever in a move which the companies claim will allow the combined business to offer the three key pillars of modern marketing: data, technology and campaigns.
The deal follows Intermedia’s 2021 acqusition of B2B marketing agency Junction, launched in 2014 by former Cyance co-founder Steve Kemish.
IMG was set up in 2003 by Neil McCarthy, who had previously been managing director of Worldwide Media Group. He is now executive chairman of the business; Kemish is chief executive.
It is claimed the deal means clients can come to Intermedia for their every need. From providing account-based marketing data for B2B customers, which in turn needs an appropriate tech stack personalised around the individual’s data that has been amassed, to helping with mass-market or even one-to-one ABM campaigns using the customised data compiled from one of its other key pillars.
Vantage Clever founder Karla Wentworth, who will now become chief operating officer, said: “We’ve seen the martech landscape explode, more and more organisations are seeking end-to-end knowhow on selecting, optimising and powering their digitally-led marketing activity.
“Our services in data, technology and campaigns, means that, as a collective, our strengthened services can support the whole marketing and sales journey.”
Kemish added: “We’ve been seeking a world-class team of marketing technology experts to complement our existing offering and Vantage Clever are that to a tee. They offer services that are the perfect fit for our clients’ needs.
“I look forward to working together with Karla and the team to build the next chapter of Intermedia and becoming an end-to-end modern growth partner.”
Both operations will work alongside each other to focus their efforts on assisting clients from a diverse range of marketing sectors across the UK, US, EMEA and Asia Pacific from two UK offices.
