Joint shapes up for The Body Coach’s advertising debut

joe_wicksThe Body Coach, the fitness business set up and run by brothers Joe and Nikki Wicks, has appointed Joint as its first ever agency with a brief to develop its debut paid advertising campaign.

While Joe Wicks started his fitness career over 11 years ago, handing out flyers for his bootcamps at a park in Richmond and is now a TV presenter, social media personality and author, he has been working with older sibling Nikki on The Body Coach since 2015.

The app offers users tailored fitness and nutrition programmes, and, according to the official line, has “transformed the lives of millions of people, and has been awarded the ‘2022 App of the Year’ by Google and ‘Editors Choice’ by Apple”. The Body Coach YouTube channel has over 2.5 million subscribers.

Nikki Wicks, who is CEO and creative director of the business, said: “This is a big moment for us. Having grown the brand organically on digital and social media over the last 11 years, it’s really exciting to be launching our first big advertising campaign.

“We were so impressed with Joint’s creativity and ideas and they really understood our brand and our mission. We can’t wait for this campaign to go live.”

Joint founder Damon Collins added: “We are really excited to be appointed the creative partner for The Body Coach and be with them at the start of their advertising journey. Joe and Nikki have built an incredible brand and business, which has gone from strength to strength. We are relishing the chance to be a part of this story and we can’t wait to get going.”

Joint was founded in 2012; it has worked for Amazon, AWS, Google, Vue cinemas, Fox’s Sweets and The Collective luxury yoghurts.
