Kitcatt Nohr walks off with Bupa

Kitcatt Nohr walks off with BupaBupa has put some spring in the step of the Kitcatt Nohr new business team after appointing the agency to handle its direct marketing account following an endurance testing five-way pitch.
The healthcare company, which previously used agency Them, handed the work to Kitcatt Nohr after a final head-to-head contest with Rapp.
The agency has been briefed to devise a customer engagement and data management strategy to be rolled out later in the year, focusing on UK customers and expats.
Bupa recently changed its overall marketing strategy to try to get the message over that it not just there to cough up for private medical bills. Earlier this year, WCRS launched a TV campaign (pictured) that highlights how the private healthcare service goes “beyond” providing emotional and practical support.
At the time, Bupa UK marketing, sales and strategy director Saj Arshad said: “Our new campaign highlights that Bupa has the healthcare expertise to go above and beyond just paying the bill.”
Meanwhile, globally the company has been promoting its role in keeping consumers healthier. Some 18 months ago it launched the Ground Miles walking app in collaboration with the World Heart Federation.
