Proximity appoints head of content

baxProximity London has recruited digital copywriter Tim Bax as head of content for the agency; an appointment which it claims underlines Proximity’s commitment to creating compelling content for clients.
With over 15 years of experience, Bax has worked for many leading agencies, including Ogilvy, Agency.com, Publicis and Draft FCB, working on clients such as Lloyds TSB, BT, American Express, Virgin Atlantic, Motorola, Vodafone and IKEA.
At Proximity Bax will be working on Royal Mail, RNLI, Procter & Gamble and Capital One, as well as delivering digital copywriting training and brand building workshops.
This new addition is the latest in a line of strategic hires that designed to add strength and depth to the direct and digital capabilities of Proximity London, in the wake of recent new business wins for the agency, including the £50m Lloyds TSB account.
Proximity cxecutive creative director Caitlin Ryan said: “Last year, many of our clients realised that their brand’s ‘tone of voice’ is a much more valuable asset than they once thought and needs to be just as effective across a range of media, from Facebook to in-store, mobile and forums.”
