Publicis London hires duo as global creative directors

Publicis London has appointed joint global creative directors, as part of plans to strengthen chief creative officer Noël Bunting’s leadership team following a raft of new business wins.

Bronwyn Sweeney and Loren Cook will support Bunting in shaping the agency’s global creative output and will work across Publicis London’s international accounts.

The appointments are new roles for the agency and follow a strong year for the business in 2025, in which it scooped a raft of new clients including Electrolux, Foster’s and Marriott Bonvoy. Last month, the agency launched La Porte, a new initiative to support internationally minded junior creative talent.

Sweeney and Cook, who have been creative partners since 2016, join Publicis after almost a decade at MullenLowe, where they delivered work for brands such as Ferrero, Bupa and Unilever. Their work for Persil, ‘Wash Away the Taboo’, won multiple international awards, including a Cannes Lion, for its intimate portrayal of menstruation which challenged longstanding stigmas around periods.

Sweeney is also a stand-up comedian, who has performed at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Comedy Central Live and is a regular on the London comedy circuit.

Publicis London has also hired Liam Crerar as senior creative. Hailing from New Zealand, Crerar has previously worked at Neverland and Droga5 in London, and Clemenger BBDO and Ogilvy in Auckland.

Noël Bunting said: “Bron, Loren and Liam are outstanding creatives. Their work is thoughtful, ambitious and has shown lasting impact. Their global experience and outlook make them all a natural fit for Publicis London, and I’m delighted to watch how their ideas will take shape and move the world.”
