Manchester digital marketing agency The Media Octopus has recruited its first head of operations on the back of a raft of new business wins, including the Royal Albert Hall, Emirates Old Trafford and Lancashire County Cricket Club, and Christopher Wray Lighting.
Cristina Ormesher takes up the role from Callcredit-owned Latitude Digital Marketing, where she was the senior paid media strategist, responsible for the team which managed clients including Bet 365, Yours Clothing and Noddle.
At The Media Octopus, Ormesher will be responsible for managing the agency’s full operational delivery team, ensuring the successful implementation of existing client accounts.
She commented: “Over the last two years, I have been very impressed with how The Media Octopus has grown in stature and added some very well-known brand names to its portfolio. This role gives me the opportunity of leading a really talented team within a successful Manchester agency, looking after some great accounts.
Media Octopus chief executive Michael Winniczuk added: “It has taken us nine months to find exactly the right person for this role – we are really excited to have Cristina on board – she has tonnes of senior experience across a whole host of large integrated digital campaigns. Cristina will undoubtedly help us with our continued business growth.”
