Unlimited Group, the company behind TMW, Prophecy, Walnut and Nelson Bostock, is aiming to beef up its data credentials by poaching Publicis Spine chief Amanda Morrisey to be its first chief client officer.
Morrisey, a former managing director of both the Carlson Marketing Group and the Marketing Store, has been president of global client strategy at data division Publicis Spine since October 2017.
Prior to that she was chief executive of Publicis Media UK and general manager of AKQA UK. She also spent a decade at sales promotion agency Brewer Blacker, which was acquired by Carlson in 2000.
In her new role, Morrisey will aim to bolster Unlimited Group’s commitment to a “client-first approach” and try to boost its “aggressive growth trajectory”, while integrating the group’s data and analytics capabilities into client teams.
Unlimited Group chief executive Tim Hassett, who joined the business in June, said: “World-class agencies are built with formidable talent and powerful leaders. With Chris Mellish joining as chief executive of TMW Unlimited and with Amanda in place as group chief creative officer, I am proud to have one of the strongest leadership teams in the industry.
“We are committed to creating holistic, strategic marketing solutions for clients and put their needs first. Establishing this role and the calibre of talent we have with Amanda is yet another statement of our client commitment.”
Morrissey added: “Unlimited Group presents an incredibly compelling offer for clients. The recent acquisition of advanced data and analytics capabilities, alongside existing research and insights hub, makes the group a highly desirable choice.
“The entrepreneurial nature of the group and the agility of approach means that we can truly deliver client-centric solutions based on real business outcomes.”
