Adland walks off with Cyber LionsUK adland is continuing grab the spoils at Cannes after Wieden + Kennedy and AKQA London both scooped gold in this year’s Cyber Lions category, with DM agencies OgilvyOne and Iris picking up consolation bronzes in a 20-strong haul of awards.
W+K and Factory London walked off with two golds for and a silver Honda, while AKQA London – working with its Shanghai office – picked up another gold and three bronzes for Nike.
Rainey Kelly (British Legion), Don’t Panic (Greenpeace), R/GA London (Beats by Dr Dre) and WCRS (Women’s Aid) also picked up silvers.
Meanwhile, OgilvyOne (Battersea Dogs Home), Iris (Adidas) and McGarryBowen (Honda) had to settle for one bronze each, although Grey London scooped a total of six for Volvo and News UK.
The grand prix was won by Droga5 in New York, for model Gisele Bundchen’s Under Armour campaign (pictured), carrying a message of women’s empowerment.
