Claims firm launches loyalty club

whatthefogLeading personal injury law firm accidentclaims.co.uk is setting up what is believed to be the first loyalty programme in the sector in an attempt to woo more claimants to the business.
The firm, set up over 40 years ago as Donns LLP, was one of the first in the UK to provide accident claims assistance. It now specialises in workplace and whiplash claims.
Loyalty cards are being despatched to the 26,000 clients who have already signed up to the scheme, which provides a £250 Marks & Spencer voucher for any new personal injury claim that is accepted.
Changes in referral fee legislation introduced earlier this year have forced many claims companies to shut up shop. But with the cost of retaining a client significantly lower than generating new business, director of marketing Josh Donn – the son of founder Raymod – believes the scheme will provide a welcome boost to the firm.
He said: “We have run a series of loyalty schemes throughout practices across the country and had great success.
“The problems with previous schemes is that some firms have failed to survive since the referral reforms earlier this year. The fall of many firms has left clients without a home to refer their case to. The Accident Claims brand has been around for decades and trading online since 1997. By building up the loyalty scheme through an already recognisable brand we can ensure longevity and a consistent standard of claims advice is being offered to all potential claimants.”
