Epsilon international managing director Dave Allen is understood to have resigned from the company, just eight months after joining to lead an international expansion drive.
Allen joined from PrivacyStar, where he launched the company across European markets. But he is still perhaps best known for his time at Acxiom, where he worked for 11 years.
Having held senior roles in the US, he was parachuted in to head up the data company’s international growth from its London HQ. Allen has also worked at IBM, The Computing Group, Navigant and MarketingStar.
At Epsilon, he was responsible for driving global expansion, leading strategy and overseeing day-to-day business operations throughout the EMEA and APAC regions, including Australia, China, India, Japan, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France and Spain.
Epsilon clients include Dell, Google, Jaguar Land Rover, Kellogg and Johnson & Johnson.
At the time of his appointment in March this year, Allen said: “Epsilon has a proven track record of not only understanding consumers better than anyone else, but delivering innovative technology, great ideas and, most important to clients, meaningful results. I am thrilled to help the company continue to grow and transform this exciting industry.”
Neither Allen nor anyone from Epsilon was available for comment for Decision Marketing.
