Nicky Bullard nets top Euro role to unite MRM agencies

McCann Worldgroup has handed MRM UK chair and chief creative officer Nicky Bullard a new role to bring the agency’s offices across Europe closer together, with a specific focus on France and Germany.

The move, which sees Bullard take on the additional job of MRM Europe chair, is part of a wider restructure of the group with Chris Macdonald becoming chairman and CEO of McCann and Harjot Singh promoted to global chief strategy officer.

Macdonald will focus on leading the advertising network. The two global appointments follow other recent moves by incoming McCann Worldgroup CEO Bill Kolb to underline the importance of the individual agency brands in the marketing services network.

Last month, the company expanded the role of global chief strategy officer Suzanne Powers to lead the group as global president and chief strategy officer.

Bullard, who joined McCann in 2016 from Lida, insisted she cannot wait to get “stuck in”, adding: “I know the power of McCann Worldgroup collaboration, having experienced it first-hand here in the UK, and can’t wait to work more closely with all our brilliant MRM and McCann Worldgroup people across the region.”
