Omnicom Media appoints UK influencer marketing chief

Omnicom Media has named Stevie Johnson as head of Creo in the UK, in a new role that will see him lead Omnicom’s influencer marketing capabilities across its UK agencies.

Creo (operating as OMCreo in certain markets including the UK) was launched in 2025 and consolidates Omnicom Media’s influencer marketing capabilities. It enables clients to benefit from data partnerships across the influencer ecosystem, reflecting the shifting dynamics of the media landscape and the increasing influence of creators in shaping consumer behaviour.

The creator economy is becoming a scalable media channel that rivals traditional networks in reach and impact, as detailed in Omnicom Media’sThe Future of Brand Influence research. Creo provides clients with influencer strategies that are integrated into the broader media ecosystem, powered by Omni, the marketing intelligence platform that powers Omnicom.

In his role, Johnson will drive the strategic delivery of integrated, audience-first, data-led creator solutions across the group. Delivering a full-funnel, social-first marketing approach that connects brands with relevant creators, Johnson will drive measurable brand outcomes through effective insight-led planning and activation.

Johnson, who will report to Omnicom Media UK chief media and partnerships officer Harriet Perry, joins from Disrupt, where he served as managing director.

He has also held senior roles at Open Influence and Brandbassador, bringing a blend of strategic, commercial, and creative leadership experience across influencer and creator marketing.

Omnicom Media UK chief digital officer Sam Holt said: “As the media landscape continues to evolve, the ability to connect with audiences through influence has become a critical component of effective brand communication. With Stevie’s leadership, Creo is perfectly placed to deliver credible, scalable, and measurable solutions that reflect how today’s consumers engage with content and culture.”

Johnson added: “This is a pivotal moment in the creator economy. Influence has never been more integral to the digital landscape than right now, underpinning how brands grow from discovery through to conversion. With Omnicom’s scale, data and technology, we are uniquely positioned to drive creator-first strategies fully embedded across the media ecosystem, and deliver meaningful, measurable impact for our clients.”
