Reward picks ex-Lloyds chief for top UK and Europe job

Reward, the customer engagement and commerce media company, has strengthened its commercial leadership with the appointment of its first president for UK and Europe to date, as the business accelerates growth across the region.

Enrique Del Rio takes up the role with immediate effect, having joined the Rezolve Ai-owned loyalty business in March 2026 as head of strategic growth.

He brings more than three decades of global financial services experience, and extensive expertise across commercial banking, data and major client relationships.

Prior to joining Reward, Del Rio spent 15 years at Lloyds Banking Group in senior leadership positions and has also held senior roles at Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital, Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust.

The company has created this specific regional presidency as part of a strategic expansion into agentic commerce and finance media networks.

While other executives have previously managed regional accounts, retail operations, and bank partnerships across the territory, such as Josh Sullivan, who serves as the Vice President of Retail for UK & Europe, the dedicated role of regional president for this territory did not exist before Del Rio’s appointment.

Del Rio will now spearhead Reward’s next phase of commercial growth, with a brief to build on its extensive partnerships with the UK’s leading banks and expanding its activation and intelligence capabilities for retailers and brands.

He will also lead Reward’s growth in priority European markets and build on strategic partnerships, including Visa, turning the company’s data and technology into significant new opportunities for Reward and its partners.

His appointment comes as Reward strengthens its Finance Media Network, connecting banks, retailers and brands through trusted transaction intelligence, customer engagement and commerce media.

Backed by Rezolve Ai’s technology and global reach, Reward is accelerating the development of new propositions across the network, with Enrique driving their commercial growth throughout the UK and Europe.

Reward chief executive James House said: “Enrique’s appointment is a significant step in our growth across the UK and Europe. He combines deep banking expertise with a strong track record of building commercial relationships and turning data-led innovation into new revenue opportunities.

“His experience gives him a valuable understanding of what banks need as they seek to create more relevant customer experiences and unlock greater value from data. Together with Rezolve Ai’s technology and global reach, that perspective will be instrumental as we expand our intelligence proposition and capture the opportunities emerging from agentic commerce.”

Del Rio added: “I’ve been deeply impressed by Reward’s position in the market. Few businesses can match the strength of its banking partnerships, the depth of its transaction intelligence and its ability to connect banks, retailers and brands at scale.

“Having spent much of my career in banking, I understand the commercial opportunity these capabilities create. My focus will be on taking Reward’s innovation to market, deepening strategic partnerships and building significant new revenue opportunities across the UK and Europe.”
