Sagacity hails client wins as REaD Group deal pays off

Anita DougallData solutions expert Sagacity Solutions has secured a raft of new client wins across a range of the core sectors in which it operates, including IT, retail, automotive, and financial services and insurance.

The spate of new business comes nine months after Sagacity acquired data marketing and insight agency REaD Group, which was acquired in October 2022 and rebranded Sagacity in January of this year.

Although client names remain confidential, Sagacity is delivering revenue assurance and consultancy to a cloud and digital services provider, advising them on better internal process management to increase profits.

It is also employing its consultancy and reporting solution to help another digital solutions provider manage complex financial reporting across a diverse European business portfolio and, for one of the UK’s leading supermarket chains, Sagacity is providing data cleaning to ensure the customer base is correctly addressable for the launch of new stores and upgrades to the loyalty card.

Meanwhile, in the financial services sector, Sagacity has been contracted to build a single customer view (SCV) for a motor and home insurer to help improve upselling and cross-selling opportunities to their existing base, and then influence recruitment of new prospects.

A new SCV is also being implemented to help a leading automotive organisation drive long-term loyalty. And for two travel insurance providers, Sagacity is demonstrating the value of direct mail for recruitment of new customers and providing segmentation and insight into the existing customer base.

Sagacity co-founder and CEO Anita Dougall said: “The business has been going from strength to strength since October. The combination of clean, accurate and compliant data and comprehensive insights with our market-leading products and consultancy gives our customers a one-stop-shop for customer management across the entire relationship lifecycle. We’re pleased to see this approach bearing fruit as we welcome a number of new customers.”

The acquisition of REaD Group saw Sagacity Solutions double in size during the fourth quarter of 2022. With an expanded team, the company has moved to larger premises in central London, while REaD Group’s previous premises in Bermondsey have been let for free to the DMA for the next six months.

The expansion has also seen a number of strategic new appointments, including Paul Thomas as head of business development and Lisa Flanagan as head of analytics, as well as Clare Livsey taking on an expanded role as delivery director.
