St Ives direct marketing agency Amaze One has strengthened its top team just weeks after a major recruitment spree, by handing strategy director Janet Snedden the additional role of deputy managing director.
Snedden joined the business in January from MetaMetrics – a firm she co-founded – and will support the multi-tasking Neil Evans, who as well as being MD of Amaze One, also heads up sister data firm Occam.
Snedden started her career client-side in 1988, having spells at Grand Metropolitan Brewing and SmithKline Beecham, before switching agency-side in 1990. Since then she has held senior data roles at many of the industry’s leading DM businesses, including Havas EHS (now Havas Helia), Wunderman and Tangible.
Three weeks ago, the agency – launched in January this year – hired nine new staff, many of whom are graduates. The hires follow a raft of client wins, including Car Giant, Lookers and Bosch. All staff work across its three sites in London, Manchester and Bristol.
At the time Evans said: “[Our new recruits] bring fresh enthusiasm and energy to Amaze One. This will prove vital as we continue to grow and deliver outstanding work to our clients.”
