St Austell Brewery has handed TMW Unlimited the advertising and communications brief for its Cornish lager brand Korev and Bath ale brands Gem and Sulis without a pitch.
TMW already works on the brewery’s best-selling IPA, Proper Job and Tribute Ale, and the move follows the success of TMW’s new brand identity and campaign for Proper Job last year.
The agency will continue to work with Proper Job and Tribute alongside Sulis, Gem and Korev.
TMW will now be responsible for the creation of brand communications, which spans both consumer and trade activity.
St Austell Brewery beer brand marketing manager Laura Hicks said: “TMW Unlimited have impressed us hugely with their creative ideas and strategic approach over the last year. We’ve been enjoying a great partnership with the TMW team on Proper Job and we’re looking forward to growing that relationship with our Korev, Sulis and Gem brands.”
TMW Unlimited group account director Helen Sanderson added: “It’s been so rewarding to work with St Austell on our Proper Job campaign, and winning Korev, Sulis and Gem on the back of that success makes us very proud. We’re looking forward to growing the fanbase for these fantastic brands.”
