WPNC has signed up former Cancer Research UK and WWF chief are Claire Daniels to boost the agency’s fundraising strategy offering.
Daniels, who takes up the role of fundraising strategy director, has delivered strategic leadership across the entire fundraising spectrum, not only in the heartland of individual giving frameworks but also in mass participation, events, NPD, innovation and community.
Since leaving WWF, where she was fundraising development strategist, Daniels has working directly with a number of leading organisations including Mind, BHF and Marie Curie.
She has already made an impact at WPNC, working with Voluntary Services Overseas, ICR, and GOSH.
In her new role, Daniels will aim to help organisations meet the challenges of developing the next generation of fundraising: from acquisition programmes and new products to proposition, creative strategy, supporter journey and digital transformation.
WPNC managing director John Eversley said: “I’m thrilled to have someone of Claire’s standing join our team, bringing her unique brand and blend of sector experience to an already strong fundraising unit.
“It isn’t just the impressive sector expertise that attracted us to Claire, in just a few short minutes you get a sense of her passion, energy and excitement. She brings genuine inspiration to the WPNC team and we’re already seeing growing collaboration with client teams. I can’t wait to see what our new team delivers this year.”
