Google woos SMEs with push for Workspace platform

Google is aiming to inspire small businesses and entrepreneurs to embrace its productivity and collaboration platform, Google Workspace, by showcasing how it is helping SMEs across Britain grow.

The “10 Stories” campaign is part of Google’s wider commitment to the UK economy and its ambition to equip the nation with essential digital skills.

Aimed at entrepreneurs, business decision-makers and small-medium business owners, the eight-week drive seeks to increase awareness of Google Workspace and showcase its role in unlocking productivity and creativity through AI.

At the heart of the campaign are a series of ten documentary-style films capturing the stories of Google Workspace customers from across the UK.

Each of the businesses featured share how Google Workspace with Gemini helps them fly through daily admin, freeing them up to focus on what really matters: growing their business.

Those taking part include business leaders from clothing brand Peregrine (pictured), brush specialist Kent Brushes and confectioner Roly’s Fudge discussing how they are using Google Workspace with Gemini to support daily admin and free up time.

The creative execution includes over 300 assets, across formats including video on demand, digital, national press, out of home, social media, and podcasts.

This includes Google’s AI Works for Business events, featuring media placements across sites including the second-largest digital billboard in Europe, which delivers an estimated 1.2 million impressions every 2 weeks. The ads are also appearing on the UK’s biggest indoor advertising screen, Waterloo Motion.

Google Cloud UK marketing director Barnaby Voss said: “We built this campaign around authentic stories to celebrate the creativity and ambition of real people using Google Workspace with Gemini to turn big ideas into reality.”
