Kyprianou had been at Go Inspire since 2021, joining as proposition director (customer communications management and digital customer experience), after a career spanning over 20 years at Communisis, Williams Lea Tag, RR Donnelley and Paragon.
He was promoted to managing director in 2023 – succeeding Patrick Headley who stepped down after 30 years with the business – and played a pivotal role in the company’s evolution and growth, strengthening client relationships and reinforcing its market position.
Kyprianou stepped down in April but stayed at the company until early July to support a smooth transition to new MD Danny Cook.
Purple Square CX (formerly Purple Square Consulting) was founded in 2011 by Andrew Addison, and specialises in customer experience strategy, CRM, marketing automation, and customer data platforms. Timothy Biddiscombe has been CEO since 2012.
The Sussex-based company’s team comprises CX strategists, engineers, developers and builders, all focused on delivering against its five core principles of CX: vision, operations, people, data and technology.
Its clients include ING, Domestic & General, The Guardian, Three, IDP Connect, TUI and Milk & More.
Kyprianou, who joins this week, posted on LinkedIn: “I’ve admired this business for a long time, watching what Andrew and Timothy have built with real intention and real craft. A CRM and CX practice that doesn’t just talk about outcomes but actually delivers them, for some of the world’s most recognisable brands.
“What drew me in was the people, the client results and the opportunity ahead.
“Technology in marketing never stops changing. Platforms emerge and evolve. Tools get smarter. AI is reshaping what’s possible faster than most can keep up. But here’s the thing that doesn’t change: what clients are striving to achieve is loyalty, retention, growth and amazing customer experience. That’s where Purple Square do their best work. Sleeves rolled up, extracting real value from technology investments, building capability that lasts and driving results the business can actually feel.
“Thirty years in marketing services teaches you to spot the difference between businesses that are genuinely differentiated and businesses that just say they are. Purple Square is the former.
“My job as CRO is to make sure more of the market gets to make their technology sing and shine a light on a business with everything it needs to become a global name in CX.”
