New deal opens up Baltics to digital OOH advertisers

Global brands seeking to run digital out of home ad campaigns in the Baltics have been given a major boost following a new strategic partnership between global supply-side platform VIOOH and JCDecaux, bringing premium digital inventory across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to its global programmatic marketplace.

The partnership delivers access to 254 digital screens generating over 163 million monthly viewable impressions across the three Baltic markets. JCDecaux’s network in the Baltics spans shopping malls, transit hubs, roadside and city centre locations in the region’s capitals.

Through programmatic buying via VIOOH’s supply-side platform, advertisers gain access to JCDecaux’s network across the region, with enhanced targeting capabilities, real-time campaign optimisation and seamless integration with global DOOH strategies.

In Estonia, the partnership brings 61 digital screens, generating more than 75 million monthly impressions. Coverage extends across roads and the city centre in Tallinn, including 44 urban panels and bus shelters delivering 50 million monthly impressions, alongside 17 large-format billboards adding a further 25 million monthly impressions.

In Latvia, 83 digital screens deliver more than 47 million monthly impressions. The network reaches audiences across Riga’s roads and city centre, including 76 urban panels and bus shelters with 24 million monthly impressions, as well as six billboards delivering seven million monthly impressions, alongside the eye-catching Origo Premium 3D screen at Riga’s central station, delivering a further 16 million monthly impressions.

And in Lithuania, JCDecaux’s largest Baltic network delivers 110 digital screens generating over 41 million monthly impressions. Inventory spans Vilnius’s roadside, city centre and premium retail locations, including 80 urban panels and bus shelters, 13 billboards, 16 screens at the Panorama shopping mall and the three-sided spectacular billboard at the Savanorių roundabout.

VIOOH global chief commercial officer Gacvin Wilson said: “Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are increasingly sophisticated advertising markets, and this partnership gives brands a single point for programmatic DOOH access to all of JCDecaux’s premium inventory.

“With more than 250 digital screens now available through the VIOOH Trading Manager platform, advertisers can build cross-Baltic campaigns with targeting precision and real-time optimisation. This is a fast-growing region, and programmatic is how brands will capture it efficiently.”

JCDecaux regional director for the Baltics Øyvind Markussen added: “This partnership with VIOOH marks an important step in how advertisers can access our premium DOOH network across the region.

“VIOOH has opened up access to our screens in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius for a global marketplace of buyers, bringing advanced targeting capabilities to our roads, city centre and retail environments. Advertisers can now plan and execute campaigns across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania with far greater efficiency and precision than ever before.”
