David Blaseby AIS London has raided digital agency AKQA to boost its senior management team with the appointment of David Blaseby as client services director, to work across its entire client porfolio.
At AKQA Blaseby headed up a business group working on brands such as Nissan Global, Everything Everywhere, McLaren and Fiat.
He joined from Weapon7, where he was a senior account director, having strated his agency career at Wunderman in 2006 as an account director.
During this time he has worked on a number of big name brands including Ford, Coutts and Mercedes-Benz.
AIS London’s clients include National Express, Škoda, the Start-up Loans Company, Pernod Ricard and the Waitrose loyalty scheme, MyWaitrose.
The agency’s managing director Liz Barnsdale said: “We’re delighted to have David on board and excited to start the year as we mean to go on. We’re hoping 2015 will be another year of growth and development for the agency and David is a key member of the team to bring these plans to life.
“His extensive cross-channel experience in CRM, digital and data-driven marketing makes him a perfect fit for ais London. Plus he’s called Blaseby – what an excellent name to have on the team.”
