Go Inspire appoints Mann as first head of digital tech

sat mannXerox-owned Go Inspire has recruited its first digital technology director as the company ramps up plans to develop and implement “cutting-edge” technology solutions.

Satbinder Mann joins the print firm turned marketing comms business from his own start-up, Ask Technologies in Kettering, which focused on business process automation and bespoke software development.

Prior to that he was chief digital innovation officer at the Blackfish Group and digital solutions director at Adare. Mann has also worked in digital roles at Banner Managed Communications, Vertis Direct Marketing and Colorgraphic.

His areas of specialisation include software solutions, automation and solutions architecture.

According to Go Inspire, Mann “will play a pivotal role in shaping the business’s digital roadmap and spearheading the development and implementation of technology solutions”.

Go Inspire is currently undergoing a major changing of the guard, group chief executive Patrick Headley stepped down in June.

Having first joined Go Inspire in 1993, 6 months after it was founded, Headley progressed through the business in a variety of roles. He went on to lead an MBO in 2016, over £20m of investment in tech and people in the past five years, and most recently the purchase of the group by Xerox, one of the biggest digital document companies in the world.

During his tenure, Go Inspire Group grew into a £90m turnover business with a 400+ strong workforce across two offices in Leicester and Kettering, with recently launched digital and CX hub in London.

Headley will continue with the business in a consultative role until June 2024.
