Go Inspire joins environmental group for print industry

Patrick Headley2Go Inspire Group is aiming to boosts its green credentials by joining environmental advocacy group Two Sides, a not for profit, global initiative promoting the sustainable and attractive attributes of print, paper, and paper packaging.

Created in 2008 with members from the graphic communications supply chain, Two Sides has set up a forum for the industry to work together and share experiences; improving standards and practices; maximising customer confidence in members’ products.

The group’s goal is to promote the sustainability of the graphic communications supply chain and dispel common environmental misconceptions by providing users with verifiable information on why print and paper is an attractive, practical and sustainable communications medium.

Two Sides is also committed to ensuring that print and paper remains a versatile, effective and powerful means of marketing and communication, stretching the imagination and imparting knowledge.

Go Inspire chief executive Patrick Headley (pictured) said: “We know that your marketing print is more than just a piece of paper. It represents your brand and is a powerful, persuasive and proven addition to any marketing strategy.”

“By joining Two Sides, we hope to promote the sustainable qualities of our company and an industry that has a great sustainability record.”

Two Sides UK managing director Jonathan Tame added: “There are many environmental myths that surround the print and paper industry. Our latest research found that most UK consumers vastly underestimate the paper recycling rate. Only 17% believe it exceeds 60%, in fact it’s 72%.

“Misconceptions like this mean the work we do at Two Sides is more important than ever. Welcoming new members on board is always a pleasure, and it means we are able to share the environmental merits of print and paper with a much wider audience. We look forward to working with the Go Inspire Group.”

By joining Two Sides, Go Inspire has access to a large library of co-brandable communications tools, consumer research, industry-leading information, sustainability advice, and events.
