Lida chief creative officer Trefor Thomas has wasted little time in building his senior team, hiring former Iris Worldwide creative director Tori Winn to be the agency’s new executive creative director.
Winn, who starts later this month and reports directly to Thomas, will work across all clients, leading the creative output on key accounts such as Boots, Open University and RBS Group.
She will be charged with building and managing Lida’s creative teams alongside Thomas, while furthering the agency’s direct, digital and innovation credentials.
Winn has two decades of international creative experience, starting her career in her native US as creative director at Sony and then Agency.com. Since then she has held the position as interactive executive creative director at Strawberry Frog, creative director, partner and European board member at Iris Worldwide, and more recently global creative director at Precedent.
Her previous roles saw her working with global brands such as Coca-Cola, Sony, British Airways, Gucci, Microsoft, Speedo and the London 2012 Olympics.
Thomas, who succeeded Nicky Bullard earlier this year, said: “Tori is a walking, running, field of energy and a true force of nature.
